We built the cloud platform powering Delivery Date AI™ — an FDA De Novo cleared medical device that uses AI to predict delivery dates from pregnancy ultrasound images, improving outcomes for the 370,000+ preterm births that occur annually in the U.S.
Ultrasound AI needed a production-grade cloud platform capable of processing sensitive medical imaging data, running AI prediction models in real time, and meeting the rigorous requirements for FDA De Novo clearance — all while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical reliability.
We designed and built a scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS to ingest ultrasound imaging data, run AI-powered delivery date predictions, and return results to clinicians. The platform was architected from the ground up with regulatory compliance, data security, and clinical-grade reliability as first-class requirements.
The platform successfully achieved FDA De Novo clearance and ANVISA approval in Brazil, establishing a new Class II medical device classification. Delivery Date AI is now used by healthcare providers across the U.S., Brazil, and Chile to support more accurate delivery timing for mothers and clinicians.
